Tamborine Mountain Golf Club

Tamborine Mountain Golf Club welcomes all visitors, golfers and non-golfers, young and not so young. At over 1900 feet above sea level the cooler temperature (up to 5C degrees) makes for a very pleasant round. The environment is beautiful and quiet and the people are very friendly on the mountain.

Visitors can play at any time but you must have an AGU handicap to play on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings or during the day on Saturday. Competition days are: Tuesday for Ladies, Wednesday for Vets and Thursday and Saturday for everyone. Tee times are readily available so why not treat yourself to a game and stay for a drink afterwards.

There are 9 greens and 18 tees and the generally undulating terrain makes for some unusual lies. The immaculately maintained bent grass greens are amongst the best you will play on anywhere. At 5,500 meters, the par 70 course is not long but it is not as easy as it may sound. Are you ready to take up the challenge? If the coastal courses are flood bound then play TMGC where the deep soil drains very quickly so play is not interrupted for long.

Why not combine shopping and golf, drop the ladies at Gallery Walk to browse the shops or at the markets that run every 2nd or last Sunday of the month. While the ladies are hunting out bargains you can play 9 or 18 holes without the fear of recrimination. Dare I say Utopia!

For more information on any matter, simply call Andy in the pro shop on 0755451788 for details. Carts and equipment are available and green fees are $25 for 18 holes.
