THURSDAY 18 HOLE COMPETITION
 
You may not know that Tamborine Mountain Golf Club has been running an 18 hole Competition every Thursday for over 2 years now. So all you need is an official AGU or ALGU handicap and willing to have an enjoyable day. Just ring the pro shop on 55451788 or turn up before 12.30pm.

What great weather, greens immaculate, course A1 and Kym Hart made the most of it with a sure-fire 44 points. Looks though he's back in form.
Runner up on a countback Michael McKeon, Tony Murphy 41 points. Don't forget 13th November BBQ for all, see you there!

The ominous looking weather kept a few players away however the afternoon produced perfect conditions for good scoring.

The man who took most advantage and played exciting golf was Martyn Haynes ( i.e. Booby Jones in disguise) with 43 points.

Marty please check that handicap next time you play.

Runners up were all on 38 points, Terry Austin, Brett Clisby, Anton Wernerkink and Tony Murphy.

The weather was beautiful, the greens are great the scores well, not so good!
Winner Tony Murphy 36 points who fell over the line from Bob Woodberry 35.
Don't forget all you folks who live on the northern end of the mountain that there is a golf course a stones throw from you,and you don't have to be Tiger Woods to play! Memberships are now open.

  A first for the 18 hole event, Joe (Brigadier?) Cavanagh achieved the perfect shot, a hole in one at the 5th. Well done soldier!
The weather was perfect, the course great and the winner was!

RESULTS MIXED MEDLEY EVENT 6th March
 
Beautiful weather for golf, showed in the winning score of 40 points by Mr Ken Dew who played the back nine with a scintillating 22 points.
Gavin McConnell came in second with 38 points. Well done guys! Let's see some ladies come out on Thursday, everyone is welcome!

Lawrence Richardson, Anton Wernekinck & John Morrin were in a countback for 2nd place with 35 points. The prize eventually going to John Morrin. Nobody however came close to the winning score by Club Captain Roger Way with 41 points. Congratulations lads.
