In regard
to the Veterans Match Play event, most players are keeping abreast
of the situation, however it is imperative that opponents contact
one another in regard to playing times. If this cannot be agreed
upon in a convenient fashion, an arrangement should be made in
regard to one player forfeiting from the other. This is why a
schedule should be maintained so that the final can be played by the
specified date.

Last Friday 18 April saw
Tamborine Mountain start their defence of the Veteran’s Shield at
Tallebudgera.
Conditions were rather
difficult being very wet underfoot and almost impossible to putt on
the greens.
Emerald Lakes emerged as
the winners with Tamborine Mountain in 2nd position 1 ½
pts behind.
Our best performers were
Peter Clark, Terry Austin, Kerry Castree and Mike Molson all
recording 38 Stableford points.
Well done Tamborine
Mountain team!!
Nominations are now open
for the next Shield Day at Parkwood on Friday 23 May 2008 – please

match it with the other clubs.
